Today is our fifth anniversary! This weekend we are heading out to Lake Quinault to hang out on the lake which is located in the Quinault Rain Forest. We are also going to try to make it to Kalaloch to play on the beach. Neither one of us has spent much time in this part of the park, so we are really looking forward to it!
I dug out this old picture that I took with a point and shoot camera on a hike near our house. I love this picture because it reminds me of the rain forest we are headed to and how beautiful it is here, even though we live fairly close to a major city.
My husband, who is 6’4″ looks itty bitty in this picture next to all the huge trees! It will be fun posting pics from our trip to the rain forest and the coast when we get back!
